All six labs against one OpenAI round
Billions of US dollars. The six stealth labs' entire lifetime capital, next to two single funding rounds closed in 2026.
Physical AI that already exists
None of the six labs put these robots in these buildings. This is the ground the Physical AI bets are aiming at, and it is worth knowing how far along it already is.

BMW Group press
Stated planSchaeffler signed with Agility in November 2024, and trade press reports Digit running supervised production shifts at Cheraw, South Carolina. The stated plan is to scale across roughly 100 plants by 2030. That is an intention, not a rollout, and it is worth holding to that standard when a vendor quotes it at you.

Sources and definitions
Publicly released products or models means generally available products, plus models whose weights or technical paper have been publicly released. Limited research previews are excluded and listed separately in each lab profile.
Valuation basis. All six valuations are charted post-money so the bars are comparable. AMI Labs is charted at $4.53B implied post-money ($3.50B pre-money plus $1.03B raised). World Labs' $5B is reported and the company declined to confirm it, so it is drawn hollow throughout.
Valuation per product divides post-money valuation by publicly released products. For SSI and AMI Labs that divisor is zero, so the ratio is undefined. It is shown as "nothing shipped yet" rather than as a very large or infinite bar, because an undefined value is not a big value.
SSI's date. Sources conflict on when the $32B round closed, and SSI never issued a press release, so it is written as early 2025. The timeline plots the TechCrunch report date of 12 April 2025.
